Yak Gear made for the Rapids

The brand new Yak Rapid cag is part of a complete re-design of Yak’s paddling cag range and is suitable for a wide range of paddling activities like river running, whitewater expedition, play boating, surfing and instruction.

Its revolutionary fabric & technical styling dramatically advance the comfort and fit when paddling, placing this extreme cag at the forefront of today’s watersports clothing market.

The Rapid uses a revolutionary 4-way stretch fabric technology offering extreme freedom of movement. The fabric is also fully taped and breathable, all this whilst keeping its waterproof qualities to the maximum too.

The product also incorporates a 3-way articulated sleeve system, providing extreme flexibility & comfort to the demanding user.

Its Latex neck and cuff seals are protected by stretch Neoprene outer to give you maximum protection from the elements.

The Rapid is available in either Brown/Yellow or in the purposely designed Camouflage fabric print design (or Yakoflage) for a bold fashion statement. The Yak camouflage fabric incorporates the Yak symbol which is a widely recognised mark within the paddling world. The Yak mark is also included in a stylish stamp print on the back.

Additional features have been included in the Rapid’s design to increase its comfort and functionality: durable moulded zip pulls tucked neatly out of the way into zip garages, laser cut reinforced drain hole in key areas, super dry wrist seals which invert to ease exit from garment and a discreet labelling system which doesn’t compromise the fabric’s integrity. The Yak branding is also stylishly moulded onto zip pulls adding brand identity and that extra bit of flair.
