Liferaft Competition Winner
Based in Epsom, Surrey Paul Ness has today taken delivery of his new Crewsaver Liferaft that he won at the 2012 Tullett Preborn London Boatshow.Paul entered the competition on the Crewsaver stand back in January and today said “ you enter these competitions and never think you are going to win, I am absolutely delighted with this wonderful prize, I can now off hire my current liferaft!”
Crewsaver handed the New 6 Man Container Liferaft to Paul on his 8.5m Scorpion Rib which is based at KB Boats in Old Portsmouth this morning.
“Red Alibi” will be driven by Paul at this year’s Olympic Games in Weymouth & Portland with a media crew on board, so this prize could not have come at a better time.
The new Liferafts are in stock from Crewsaver and available from all stockists.

ISAF Offshore Special Regulations
Crewsaver applies to the new and updated ISAF Offshore Special Regulations for 2010 - 2011|
Part of the changes, section 5.02.1 states that "Harnesses and safety lines manufactured prior to Jan 2001 are not permitted". To check the date of manufacture you can check the serial number label sewn to the line, to the harness or in the case of lifejackets with integral harnesses check the serial number of the lifejacket, e.g. the serial number will be of the form YY MM 12345.
