CREWSAVER IMPLEMENTS A NEW VIDEO FEATURE ON ITS WEBSITE

Crewsaver continues to improve its website by implementing a new and fascinating video feature. This enables the viewer to watch video footage about the versatility of Crewsaver products worn by professionals.

The first video featured on the homepage shows the Alex Thomson Racing Team wearing the all-new revolutionary range of Crewfit 190N lifejackets. It shows the high performance of the Crewfit 190N as well as other features like safety, durability, functionality and style. The ATR team has been working closely with the Crewsaver Design team for the last couple of months, providing feedback on the performance and fit of the Lifejackets, allowing Crewsaver to supply a product perfectly suited to Alex’s needs. Alex Thomson has had a chance to have a sneak preview of the Lifejackets and he couldn’t have been more impressed with their design and performance.

Apart from the personalized Lifejackets, Crewsaver have also supplied ATR with other safety accessories like safety lines, dry bags and kneepads.

Crewsaver will be showcasing its all-new Crewfit 190N Lifejacket alongside the latest range of leisure marine products for the dinghy, sailing and water sports market at the London Boat Show.

The official launch of the Crewfit 190N Lifejacket will take place on Friday 8 January at 14.30 on the Crewsaver stand N042J.

Crewsaver Supports Exercise Transglobe

Crewsaver will be the official supplier of lifejackets to the major tri-service Exercise TRANSGLOBE sail training expedition that sets off from Portsmouth on 11th July 2009.

ISAF Offshore Special Regulations

Crewsaver applies to the new and updated ISAF Offshore Special Regulations for 2010 - 2011|

Part of the changes, section 5.02.1 states that "Harnesses and safety lines manufactured prior to Jan 2001 are not permitted". To check the date of manufacture you can check the serial number label sewn to the line, to the harness or in the case of lifejackets with integral harnesses check the serial number of the lifejacket, e.g. the serial number will be of the form YY MM 12345.
